Welcome to our very special village...

Sheriff Hutton is located in Ryedale (North Yorkshire in the United Kingdom) and is located in the centre of the York/Malton/Easingwold triangle. Click here to see where it is!

An historic village with strong Richard III connections both in the 900 year old church of St. Helen and the Holy Cross and the 600 year old Neville Castle.

‘Few villages touch national history so closely as Sheriff Hutton, still a real village despite recent growth. Castle ruins dominate the scene with awesome grandeur, and there is fine country never far away'.

from John Rushton's book ‘The Ryedale Story’
